Welch Mountain Trail

Welch Mountain Trail

posted on October 1, 2015

Although the afternoon was rather cloudy, we loaded up the dogs and had ourselves a quick after work climb near the summit of Welch mountain.

In less than an hour, we were able to hike 1.36 miles (one way) while climbing 804 feet. This was our view when we reached the shelf near the top.

The dogs have really gotten used to these little outings and are bonding on the trail more than ever.

This beautiful hiking loop is accessed from route 49, toward Waterville Valley.
