Spent the morning digging around Rochester, NY for a newfangled oil filter for our ultra-modern 4-cylinder diesel. Thank you, Vision Buick/GMC!
Even so, I still couldn’t get the oil changed. Turns out, our new truck runs on the blood of endangered sea urchins and can only be collected every third Thursday during even-numbered leap years. No problem, I’ll make an appointment in Utah.
But whatever the case, this truck gets incredible gas mileage, which when combined with it’s oversized fuel tank gives it a remarkable 685 mile range!
Also, Ohio has really shiny rest areas. (I think they added these since I left 20 years ago.)
