And now we understand why people kept telling us to visit Twillingate.

It’s incredibly beautiful. Everywhere. And apparently, it’s possible to own a modest house on any number of coastal beaches.

Each turn offers a new and glorious view.

After our morning hike, we lunched at the Crows Nest Cafe in Crow Head. Excellent!

Alison enjoys her cod chowder.

Then we toured the historic Masonic Lodge in Twillingate. Very, uh, blue.

And finally, we all climbed to the lookout at Pikes Arm and well, looked out…
