Louisville, Kentucky

posted on May 20, 2018

Overall, we found Louisville to be a hip and stylish city — full of surprises. The people were especially friendly and the food (and craft beer!) was absolutely fabulous.

On our first morning in Louisville, we enjoyed a fantastic brunch at 21c. It’s a restaurant, hotel, and art gallery all rolled into one and we were thrilled at the amount of diverse, high-quality work we found.

Later we hit the “Buy Local” fair. It was unusually hot, but there was cold beer, plenty of shade, and … LIVE BLUEGRASS!

While in town, we also explored some co-working and hackerspaces.

And before we left, we discovered a wonderful shop called Joe Ley Antiques. More than 4 floors of anything and everything — nearly all of it for sale…
