Cape Cod: Provincetown Museum

Today started out a bit misty, so we headed indoors to learn about the history of Provincetown and climb the Pilgrim Monument.

Perhaps the most important thing they want you to know right away is that the pilgrims landed HERE first! (They’re pretty serious about this…)

So with that important bit of history set straight, we learned about the historic artist colonies and whaling traditions that once defined this area.

We checked out a beautiful old doll house…

…and took in a bit of good old-fashioned nightmare fuel.

Once recovered, we prepared to climb the Pilgrim Monument!

The dogs wanted in on the action, so we took them to the see the Atlantic ocean.
